OCC boys at HP

Just heard that the OCC (orange county choppers) guys are here at HP (Louetta and 249) shooting a commercial or something.

Heard that every one is crowding around so I'm not even going to bother trying to go check it out.

Got a buddy that works there... says he hasn't seen/heard anything.

..so go peek. :-)

p.s.
Was curious, did a google and found this
http://www.wilx.com/news/headlines/4950062.html

"Three Jackson businessmen have opened Orange County Choppers' very first dealership outside of their New York headquarters and showroom. The motorcycles are production bike. There's two models to pick from.
The men from "American Chopper" have tentatively scheduled a visit in June. Two additional dealerships will open soon, one in Houston and one in Denver."

I'm on the "riders" email list and there are two guys who saw them over by CCM6.

They are supposedly filming an HP commercial for the superbowl is the "word" I hear.

"OCC sucks"

So do quite a few other things, but most people don't complain about em.
<shrug> They make for an interesting diversion on TV at times and they
have come out with some interesting designs.

Not sure, but HP likes to use "trendy" attention grabbing people in commercials sometimes. And OCC uses all HP computers as I understand.

OCC Rocks!!!

Hahah... my useless post for the day..
And...
thats not really my opinion.
They have some really good PR people working for them. But still thats like the opinion I used to have when I was in a band.
*My music rocks harder and I play guitar way better than Metallica. They suck!*. But it was them on the stage and I was in the crowd wishing I was them.

HP on the other hand, well it all depends on what you buy. Spend the extra money and buy commercial Desktops and Laptops instead of consumer (pavillion and presario) and your opinion will change.

I have 2 presario's in my own business and haven't had any problems. It helps to know which models to buy as well.

I used to work at HP too. For 9 years. Spent time in CCM3, CCM4 and CCA6 (as well as the old 1960 & I45 location in the late 90s). I left last July for a job in Austin. Can't say I'm sorry about getting out of the computer hardware industry. It's nice to be an industry that doesn't focus every ounce of energy on cutting budgets. My former team now reports to a manager in Guadalajara Mexico. :confused1 I saw that coming and had to get out...
