Just kinda thinking out loud, but if your in a nasty accident and your in bad shape-once they realize you are an organ donor will they still work on you as hard to save your life?I would sure hope so, but it makes me wonder. I guess actually this would be A rhetorical question.

LOL this one is easy. Now what am I gonna do with a pile of organs if I'm dead? They are useless to me and better off going to people who NEED them.

I read an article in a magazine that was speculating the opposite and doctors were harvesting organs if they felt the patient wouldn't have a chance of making it through the procedure. I'll have to find the article. Also I'm sure it was written by a conspirator.

I used to be an air ambulance pilot. It is not uncommon for air ambulance flights to travel long distances to go harvest organs. I always wondered with the number of people who die every day in a city like Houston, why were we making this trips. One of the answers is that there are not enough donors.

No They will not try as hard. I work for the Houston Academy of Medicine !
I have been told by many Doctors off the record that I would not be here if I was a organ donor when I crashed my motorcycle last time and got hurt real bad.

Do not put that on your DL. Get some paperwork drawn up that your family can present if you wish to do so.

Truth, that is all.
