Went to the Dragon over the weekend

After going 7 times in my cars, my 8th trip there was on the bike! The first run through was OK, but it didn't seem as fun as in the cars. After I got a rhythm going for the 2nd run, it was much better. I still think the Dragon itself is better in the car, but all of the other roads are WAY better on the bike and the trip is definitely worth it.

Here's some pics that are posted so far. I plan on buying a bunch once I can see the whole weekend's pics

Yeah it's Bryan! He actually stayed behind me almost the entire weekend. Probably because I know those roads for the most part. On the way back to Robbinsville on the Cherohala Skyway though, he took OFF! We averaged 90mph on the way back and didn't stop. My legs STILL hurt!

Weather was pretty amazing most of the time.

Friday we took the Foothills Parkway to Lamar Alexander Parkway, then over to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Then it was getting late so we headed back on 74 to 129. When we got close to 129 it started hailing, and let me tell you it STINGS! Even through leather!

Saturday we went through the dragon in the morning, then took the Cherohala Skyway over to Tellico Plains. Ate some yummy food at Kats' and hauled back through the Cherohala Skyway, and finally through the dragon one more time.

We put 2 bikes in the back of the truck. I honestly would NEVER ride up there on a sportbike, it's 1000mi. I know there's some that would do it, so I'll leave that to them.

rnickeymouse is the guy that photographs all the people on Mulholland Drive in Santa Monica California. The corner he takes his photos and videos is fairly infamous for people going down.

I mean... he takes video of others that aren't going down, but I get it... took me a few mins

I wouldn't mind going out to Mulholland though. Someone should plan that trip and haul my bike out there for me
