stoners honda looked in all sorts of trouble, shame, all looked a bit one sided to me

After another amazing ride, I hope CC gets a good seat next year, why the is B smith even in the reckoning for one one of the Tech3 bikes let alone guaranteed one for 2013 Major up by poncheral imo.

was impressed with hayden yesterday too.

not to give alberto more ammo but stoner was on the softer tires...

towards the end there you could tell that was just a bad decision on their part... no to mention the endless chatter issues they've been dealing with of late... at least he (tried to) put up a fight... but when he rolled into park the bike he was non-stop shaking his head...

mad props to lorenzo though... that guy is just stupid smooth... and has a 25 point lead to boot...

spies is in a wicked funk... we will not speak of it until he get's his groove back...

from what little ive read sounds like everyones tires went off. crash actually had some interesting info about best lap times of the riders and their tire problems. still doesnt explain crutchlow though. that guy is riding out of his head.

Could just be damage control but Yamaha had posted on their Twitter page that Spies was having front tire problems.

I don't believe it is damage control. From what I remember from the race, everytime Ben was coming out of a turn, the bike moved like it was about to lose the front. Hopefully he will get his groove back soon, although it may be for another team in 2013.

In regards to Stoner, I don't think tires were the issue. I think he just lost his edge. He is riding very conservative, IMO. Since he is retiring soon, he is riding on the safe side.

I wonder how much of this is down to the new bridgestone front tire, most critical of it are Honda, Ducati need to modify again and Lorenzo loves it!!!!

It is intresting....unintended consequnce or neccassary evil... the bikes have to be designed to a spec tire which can change on a whim by popular decision... Teams have to change all kinds of hard parts made of metal to chase a chassis set up where the most compliant spring in the equation is the side wall stiffness of the tire. Seems like it would be cheaper to have your own tire supplier and just toy around with those since their wasted anyway than to chop up and make new frames and engines with differnt geometry and bolting points throughout the season. It'll be intersing to see how Ducati's wet wether performance hangs in there...the comprimises their chasing may pull back what seems like an established advantage in the wet...

Crutchlow is a beast. It's a few years away, but I'd like to see how Vinales does as he moves up the levels also.

great rider, with good people and good money (relatively) around him, always been the case...
A friend of mine back in the UK sponsored him back in his R6 Cup days,
he was good then, I thought the late Craig Jones who later would be his teamate in the factory UK Honda Supersport team was better!

Thing with Cal was the confidence he exuded, he 100% believes he's the best rider out there come race day
