125 update

I'm pretty much finished with the bike now. Little quirks will arise I'm sure as all bikes do. I rode it around the neighborhood for about 20 minutes before it became too dark. The headlights work off of the magneto(I guess), with the fluctuating lights at idle(irritating). It sounds pretty neat, a deep sound for such a small motor. What's irritating also is 4 gears! It feels like I need to shift at least one more time. Perhaps different gearing may help. First gear is very low and almost not needed. Anyway, if anyone is interested in looking/driving. It will be used mainly around the local neighborhood and as a pit bike. I see no reason to spend anymore money on it.

Would I recommend it? How much time do you have to spend? I just wanted it perfect as I can make it. I despise shotty workmanship as I found here and there on the bike. Most of you will be able to do as I did, and make it into something fun. If anyone does purchase one, I can give you tips on what you're probably going to run into.

This is the last post on this; if anyone needs more info, feel free to call me, email me, meet me, use telepathy, etc. Dont be shy; I don't bite! I'll write later on it when I've ridden it more and after the graphics are affixed.

This shot may give you super modifiers an idea of blowing the bike out of proportion with a larger cc engine!

The exhaust shown here, at prolonged idle will warp/distort the lower fairing as I found out!
125 update
So using exhaust wrap, this should help somewhat plus another stickon heat reflector was put in the faring itself.

OH yes! I'll get plates. I have one other chinese bike(had two sold one) and got them registered. Kind of a pain. Just have to know the right title person to help. In the meantime, I'll put my license on from my other chinse bike.
just need:
*Certificate of origin (usually acts as Hs-7 form)
*EPA(vehicle Emission Control info.)
*Bill of sale
*Inspection sticker
*Insurance
*Inspection from the department of transportation(proves that the bike is not stolen)(have to trailer the bike downtown for this)
I'm sure there was something else! Just a little more work than a regular title.

I've had two RS50s. Teresa bought my last one. The rS50 is quality! This bike is not! Some things look really neat, but when you get up close, and start looking closely as I have, one finds out quickly what is quality and what is not. This bike may be able to do 60mph as advertised, but not without blowing up and ratteling your brains out!
I think this bike will only be good for going about 40mph tops; maybe can be geared differently and may help.
It all boils down to; you don't get something for nothing. In other words, this is a 1000 dollar chinese bike, the Aprilia is an Italian bred motorcycle capable of great mods, but can cost 2-3500 used.
Why did I sell my aprilia? eh, who knows, just wanted to try something different.
Would I buy another RS50? yes
Would I buy another 125chinese bike? no
Would I recommend this chinese bike to you? no

I bought this bike as a tester to see if I wanted to sell them. It's mine now and I'll play with it for a while, let my girls play on it, take it to the track as my pit bike. It is neat to look at I'll say that.

Looks like a bored out honda 50 clone engine. I'd be amazed if they could actually stuff 250cc's in that tiny motor.

the chinese motor is so sedated it ridiculous. Put 400 bucks top in that motor and you'll be glad you did. big bore kit is 170 bucks come with aluminum cylinder all gasket and domed piston. Loose the weight off that flywheel to let it spin up further. a cam and a bigger carb will free up even more power. cam and carb prob 200 bucks top for it. then you have a tuned motor. i also bet that with a little carb tuning in it's stock state right now you'd see a diffrence.

This may not be the bike of all bikes for now but, it is definetly a sign of what is to come. Imagine being able to pick up something similar to this with plenty of upgrade options. The doors to the world of motorcycle road racing could be blown wide open.

Exactly, people start picking these up for a grand with some options to boot and put them to the test with sprint and endurance races. You can't even race TMGP for that kind of priceing but now you have an entry level big bike that you can.
