I think it has to do a lot on the phones concerning how good reception is. I'm with sprint and had a samsung phone that would lose calls and have bad reception. When I got the Razr when Sprint started carrying them, my signal was exceptionally good and had no problems anywhere no matter where I was.

I was a cingular customer at one point, and they didint care about me at all...once my contract ended, I started getting this huge bills everymonth, and my talk expericences had never changed.
I dont hate cingular cause I work at sprint, I hate them cause I was once a customer they never cared enough about helping fix the situation, so I said "**** yall and seeya!" THATS when they wanted to jump up and help. too late. Phone selesction was medicore/, service was ok/good.

I work for, and use, companys who gives great customer service, and also have badass products and service.

cingular got the iphone because apple cares about taking care of the "underdog" since they were/are once one. It wont help, cingular is still looking to be bought out. My guesses are verizon or tmobile will take them.

I betcha just about everyone here has the same story about every other carrier.

Cingular will be AT&T soon.

Sounds kinda like my experience with Verizon but I had just resigned my contract and my bill was wrong every month for like 5 months in a row. And I had to go stand in line in the store to get it corrected. I ended up talking to the regional VP at Verizon and she had one of her people do "whatever it took to make me happy" which was to get out of my contract with no penalties. And they did it. (she said she could have given me free equipment or free service if I wanted it but by that point I just wanted AWAY from them)

Uh...dont let sprint brainwash you. GSM is the future and cdma is old technology that sprint and verizon have been holding onto. GSM is used everywhere in the world, unlike cdma. You have been told wrong young one. Sorry.

And sprint has the highest churn rate of the big four due to their poor customer service so dont even start with how great they are cause in the cellular industry you will soon learn that sprint is about as as they come. And i have worked for them all going on a total of 8 years so i speak from experience. As a matter of fact, I wanted to send sprint a thank you card cause without their poor service and lack to make their customers happy, i wouldnt activate as many phones as i do. Even when I worked at Cingular the most numbers we ported came form Sprint and now at Tmobile its the same thing.
