But as Bevo said, get the bike first, learn to ride, and first, be curious about how to ride safe rather than terms like chicken strip, lean angle and so forth. Wider tires may look good, but make sure there are no clearance issues before doing it. A wider tire will also steer slower, so keep that in mind.

I'll go talk to a guy name brad at the cycle gear down the street he's been a good help....now if I do get a wider tire for the back do I need to get a little bit wider tire for the front?

1. There are lots of folks that have riding experience but currently have no bike
2. Your time would be more wisely spent riding and learning to ride then trying to modify your bike
3. Learn grammar, how to ride, and own your first bike, then you can try to be a more effective smart
