anyways, after thread jackin', Congrats on future bike purchase, a 250 is one of the best places to start (for street at least) Once you have outgrown it, resale value should be close to what you picked it up for. Even after you drop it.

The bike is my brothers bike I'm getting it for....Wait for it......wait for it.....now!!!! $1,000 He's going to be getting a cbr600

So if it doesn't have strips, why didn't you just start a thread about getting a bike?

When you get a bike, take MSF, learn to ride, then you can make the transition from being a merely a poster, to a rider, and then maybe you can ride with me.

if anyone want to get rid of chicken strips on their new tires, take them to any tracks. most of track riders would love to help you to get rid of that...

Zombie, understand your curiosities. But as Bevo said, get the bike first, learn to ride, and first, be curious about how to ride safe rather than terms like chicken strip, lean angle and so forth. Then, you'll have opportunity to ride with seniors in this forum who'll be more than happy to help you to get to the next level. Good luck my friend.

Well, no chicken strip in street riding = 1) At least a weekly ride in the twisties (highly unlikely for most of us) and be really hauling . 2) you are using sand paper to get rid of them.
I dont know how one can't avoid chicken strips on regular city street riding.

I wouldn't be one to recommend this type of hooliganism, but they can be gotten rid of on freeway exchange ramps
