I believe the inspection is a fix-it ticket so he should able to get it done and bring proof to the courthouse within a certain time-frame from when he received the ticket. As far as the motorcycle endorsement one goes I think he's probably outa luck.. someone else may have to chime in on that one.

Call places that offer basic riders courses (the ones that are now mandatory tin order toget M endorsement). There is a sponsor here that offers that.

I remember when I took mine there was a guy there saying he had a ticket for riding without a licence and was there to erase it. Can't be sure if he knew what he was doing tho, call and find out...

He could always call the court and see if there's anything that can be done to dismiss the no endorsement ticket, I'm sure they would be able to give him the information.

Checking with a lawyer wouldn't hurt either.

The real question here is... Is he a legal/native? And Did he get to ride his motorcycle home?

I was able to get out of a ticket for not having an M endorsement and no helmet. I hired a Lawyer got the non motorcycle lenience drop and got pop for the no helmet $40 fine plus $80 in lawyer fees=$120

This was all back in 2007 too.

he's lucky he didn't get a no insurance ticket. in some parts your gets towed or they tell you to call a legit rider to come ride it home. part of insurance is having a valid license. i work with several guys who ride bikes valued from $3k-$25k who have never had a m endorsement. these make ^$25 hr

$25 hr isn't a lot of money after obama gets his hands on it

I make way more than that and still can't afford a 25k dollar bike..

I rode dirty for several years way back when a CDL got you by. (cops back then figured if you drove 18 wheels, you could handle 2) Never was asked about M endorsement to get insurance. I was always fully covered. What you ride doesn't make a to a cop, it's your attitude that will make or break your situation.
