The bigger the better, but most of the guys can ride in a 300 x 300 are doing circles and what not, but for stoppies and more technical tricks more length is desirable

It would be cool. Something more on the casual side than an actual show I think would be better. No pressure on anyone. Just a place to go and goof off and hang out with everyone.

I dont think there are alot of "Pro" stunters to begin with. Guys like Britton, Nick Apex, E-Dub, Joe Vertical, OMR and the likes, they dont even really make much money riding wheelies. I guess you can say if you have a team (a few from H Town and Corpus) can be called pro, because they get paid SOME money to come to a demo, but most stunt riders still do it for fun and the thrill. So I cant see why people who like to ride wheelies wouldnt go out and do it for free in a legit place where they wont be harrassed and could possibly pull some at the same time.

This! Nothing was ever said about "pro" stunters. Just talk about a place to do it without being jacked with, and having a place to hang out and bs with fellow enthusiasts.

FYI

Britton= $25,000 per apperance
Apex and Edub get paid a pretty hefty salary from ICON and Triumph
Teach his shows cost around $30,000
while others travel 360 days a year for roughly $500 a week.

Well that is considerably more then I thought those guys would make. I wonder how many actual pros there are in the sport? These guys are the top riders sponsored by the biggest companies. I guess my point was that there is a big divide from the pros traveling and doing demos all over the country versus some of the local guys and teams that would still come out for fun. I know that you have been known to come out and ride for some demos and charity deals, and I know Stunt Garbage has been around a while and does some demos, but would probably come out and ride a spot for exposure and fun as well.

It has been brought up before. Hard for pro stunters to get paid if they get a bunch of people showing up and just riding. People start thinking they do it for free.

I can understand that, definitely seems like the amount of people stunt riding in Houston has declined, whether it be they are just staying low key or have found other priorities, but you cant work for free. are there any hobby stunt riders around anymore either? There used to be a thread for getting together every other week with those dudes Klassik, Clayton, garret and the BYL Crew, SG even going back to Star Boyz in the early 2000's or even late 90's. Seems like the lot/highway riders are either done or have dwindled severely. I dont know maybe I'm just out of the circle.
