I'd still buy a Japanese bike regardless of what any review says.

Agreed. I personally hate the way the BMW looks, so Id never buy one. Also, yeah the writers may agree its the better bike, its still going to cost $5k-$6k more then the bike that didnt lose by much.

No need to get your panties in a bunch. Last time I saw prices on BMW's they were more then what is listed above, and anybody that pays anywhere near what the MSRP on a GSXR is dumb. Just saying.

I guess Ill go ahead and miss out.....its still ugly in my personal opinion. Im sure its a great bike, I just cant get past the headlights, and the different side fairings. To each their own.

As current owner of a BMW car, the only thing I'm missing is shitloads of money from having to repair the . Am I getting it back!?

ive had the
HONDA CBR 1000rr
rode for a few weeks a GSXR1000
still have a Hayabusa
owned a RSV1000R factory
owned a BMWS1000RR
owned a DUCATI 1098.

in my opnion the best bike out of all of these was the S1000rr
followed by the HONDA, and after that the Aprilia.

one bike a lot of people drool over is the DUCATI and i can tell you unless its just a second/track only bike i would not want another ducati..

but like its mentioned above until you ride the BMW you dont know what you are missing.. only reason i didnt buy another one was finances. but soon i will be back on the S1000 again.
