To me it felt the same.. but then again.. I wan't pushing it like I am now..

I did see the psi need it to be on the dot! of you'll be having some cold tear like a !!

ex: I had the uk 211's and had "off the track" 31f 25r
went and put the Gpa and had the same temp and tire pressure running on them but this time the Gpa's had some nasty cold tear.. and just to make sure it wasn't just me, I walked around the pit and saw other people with the same problem. (about 6 other bikes)

after making sure we dropped about 2psi.. the rear and front were looking alot better.
Gotcha. Thanks for the info.

Wow.

You kids crack me up.

Somehow I feel like we're all stuck in the middle of an internet divorce that is just trying to make it work, there's a separation here and there but then there's that night of drinking and the drunk dialing starts, and as always, it's the kids that suffer...

2nd hand from a friend (expert plate with WERA, just picked up sponsorship from Jason DeSalvos school) he picked up a good bit from GPA to the UK NTEC, and really prefers the feel. He did have to reset the entire bike suspension and ride heights.

Wow,,,, is there that big of a difference of height change from a GPA to an Ntec where you need to change the geometry of the bike, I just learned something new

Patrick has given a great deal of his time and money helping me along the way, over the years. As a matter of fact, after I replaced my 750, which had Race Tech installed Suspension by Motorcycles Unlimited, with a 1000 with suspension by one of the most esteemed tuners in the state it took many tries to break my previous personal bests. Patrick does great work and provides extraordinary support to our 212 Decals Endurance team helping us podium several times this year with a far less equipped machine. Additionally, having dealt with other businesses over the years, the communication and punctuality of Motorcycles Unlimited is 2nd to none.

I've been reading about the NTECs compared to the GPA on a few forums. Several riders claiming advanced pace are saying that the GPA fronts are not nearly as grippy as the NTEC UK counterpart.

Any vendors or racers/fast guys care to comment on that? Anyone have positive or negative experiences switching from one to the other?

I believe I've got the names correct for the tires, but feel free to correct that if I'm off base.
I have ran them all... the US slicks, US DOTS (GP-A), UK DOTS (GP) and UK Slicks. The new US fronts are brilliant! We run just a couple seconds off of our sprint pace for 5 hours straight on US made fronts and never have any issues. All the daytona Sport Bike riders run US made GPA's. They are a very capable tire at a fractin of the UK costs.

Personally, I sprint on UK built DOTS because I am confident on them. The mental aspect of our sport is far greater than the physical. Even if traction is equal, my mind tells me it's better on the UK tire so I stay with it.

If I am not sprinting, but rather endurance racing or track day riding I would, and do, run US made tires.

Hope this helps.
