I've been building / setting up suspensions before you were green.
It's been good enough to win multiple TMGP, CMRA, WERA and AMA races/championships.
Tell me "Mr. Trackday", how many have you won?
Bahahahaha

Nice!

In an effort to get back on some kind of course.

I've been reading about the NTECs compared to the GPA on a few forums. Several riders claiming advanced pace are saying that the GPA fronts are not nearly as grippy as the NTEC UK counterpart.

Any vendors or racers/fast guys care to comment on that? Anyone have positive or negative experiences switching from one to the other?

I believe I've got the names correct for the tires, but feel free to correct that if I'm off base.

I went from the NTEC UK to the GP-A.. Only because at that time I wasn't fast enough to even know what to do with those tires.

Now.. I'm going back to the UK because so far is the only tire I've happy with and you do get your money back.

I went and got a set of take off last year and they did 4 track days in level 2.
Then I got a set of GP-A and only did 3 track days.. I still think I can ride with the one I have now.. I'm just kidding.

Maybe stick to the 49.00 oil changes and free chain adjustments.
No posts have been deleted, but than again it's not the first time you're caught out talking about something you don't know, or just outright fabricating bullshit.

Fwiw, I still support several racers and endurance teams.
I also work with a number of track day guys, and do a ton of street suspension for riders wanting a better handling street bike.
You know, the other 90% of motorcycle riders who DON'T ride track.
It's one of the reasons we're a Certified Race Tech Tuning Center.

No, I don't go to the track anymore. After 30 some odd years off and on I got worn down by the travel, politics and dealing with people like you that are suddenly "experts" after only been doing trackdays what, not quite a year?

Enough of taking this topic off track with your drama.
If you've got something to say to me, I'm easy to find, either at the shop or at several meets.
We can continue this discussion then.

Floyd,
Dunlop coined the phrase; "either you trust your tires, or you don't"
That applies to all brands of tires, and why I recommend to all racers to try different tires to see which one best fits their riding style.
To help keep the analysis accurate, make sure to adjust your geometry and suspension accordingly, and to get with the tire vendor for cold and hot tire pressure input whenever making a tire change.

I don't speak fluent Floyd.

Does that mean you felt the GPAs didn't provide solid feel up front in comparison to the NTECs?

I'll let you know once I go back to them. lol

I wasn't fast enough to tell a different between both tires.
To me it felt the same.. but then again.. I wan't pushing it like I am now..

I did see the psi need it to be on the dot! or you'll be having some cold tear like a !!

ex: I had the uk 211's and had "off the track" 31f 25r
went and put the Gpa and had the same temp and tire pressure running on them but this time the Gpa's had some nasty cold tear.. and just to make sure it wasn't just me, I walked around the pit and saw other people with the same problem. (about 6 other bikes)

after making sure we dropped about 2psi.. the rear and front were looking alot better.

I'm latino.. so I dont speak Ingles americano!
