Same mental reaction as target fixation! It does indeed happen all the time. Reminds me of a sickening video about 2 decades ago. A child in Colombia after much training jumped off a plane with a parachute. Parents were filming the video from the ground. Poor child, for some reason froze, and never pulled the chute release although he was holding it tight with his hand.

Anytime there's an accidental death there's an investigation.

Since this happened at 5:50pm last Friday, these two guys could have worked in the same office building that owns the parking garage and were doing this when they both got off work
