which location u guyz jumpin from? 149 is a pretty neat price!
i did one from skydive houston near waller. instructor was good, but their "LEARJET" was scary as , with half the instruments not working!

and also, IMHO, a trackday is 10 times more fun if u hv money to do only one. otherwise gr8 experience if u hv enough moolah

don't worry guys. i'm not trying to get a freeby. we'll split the freeby so we can all have the savings. everybody throw dates out there, and we'll try to see what day we can go with. we'll go with majority rules.

houseofpain - ive been there twice and still here lol. i didnt even know about instrument situation. question though, is it the ones on the plan or the ones the jump instructors use when free falling?

first weekend in march is fine with me (3rd, 4th) why dont we make a ride of it before or after (dependin on the time of day we get it done)

i meant the instruments in the plane. nothing wrong with the instruments that the instructors r using. the instructor that i jumped with was pretty experienced and i wouldnt have to think twice about jumping with him again.

i seriously doubt that the instruments didnt work... my uncle just recently went skydiving and point blank asked the secretary at the front desk what was the REAL statistical chance of something going wrong and according to her she said that you are literally more likely to die in your car (or on your bike) on the way then to actually have something go wrong...

he said that when you get up there, the tandem jumpers mess around with you a lot... acting like their tired, hung over, and everything else... my uncle said that the guy he was with kept tapping his equipment saying "i just hope it works when we jump"... ive heard that they really like to mess with people but its still safe... just my 2 cents
