TITLE TRANSFER Question.

It's for another friend, he just bought the bike and got the title signed by the original owner. Bought it in Austin, never got the bill of sale. And now can't get hold of the original owner (supposedly he was being deployed to Iraq). Dmv asked for bill of sale. Can he get it done without a bill of sale?

thank you in advance.

U need the Title signed by the person who on the title, a VTR-130U signed by that same person and insurance for a title transfer. They dont really care about a bill of sale if u have those items.

If u have the title signed by someone other than who is on the title it can be a pain in the but not impossible.
Also if u dont have a VTR130U signed by the original owner u can always print one out and get it signed by the "original" owner-hint hint
