The 700s are lighter than the 400s because they are made out of fiberglass and the 400s are polycarbonate, otherwise they are the same. I have a 400 and since I never owned a lighter helmet, it doesn't bother me.

The Scorpion has great ventilation which makes it a bit louder. I have heard from people who switched from a Shoei or Arai to a Scorpion that this was something they really noticed.

Otherwise, the Scorpion is a great helmet and an awesome value. Fully removable liner and the anti-fog visor works perfectly.

They also have a bunch of accessories. http://www.scorpionusa.com/products/accessories.html

I really like it and just got another one for Christmas to replace the one I had.

It pointless to make a decision on a helmet with out knowing how it fits. Head shop first then graphic shop.

+10

I have all three crackhead models and they are awesome. I also have some KBC and an ICON helmet and the scorpions are the best of them.

helmets20pic20 Small

*Disclaimer* I don't own an Arai or helmet that cost more than $250 so I can't comment on the higher priced helmet brands
