Attn: UFC Fans....Would you be interested?

There is an event going on at the Verizon Wireless Theatre on Jan. 20 called "Renegades". I here it like UFC, but kind of local peeps, etc. Here is the link to the flyer/website. I may be going, but still waiting on clearing it with the woman. Tix start at 20 bucks. Could be a good deal.

here's my report-

F*GGIN AWESOME. I had never been to the Verizon Wireless for any type of venue before this one and let me tell you, it was pretty nice. I was kinda worried about the ability to see the fights without any obstructed views seeing as we were almost at the "top" of the theatre. Well, there are only two levels and I don't think there was one seat that would have sucked at all. The fights were good for the most part....8 fights, each had three five minute rounds I believe. It was the same kinda set up as UFC, except they fight in a hexagon ring instead of an octagon. I WILL be going again next time....I know those of you who attend the UFC events at BW3's with the MH group would love this event. Tickets were 30 bucks after all taxes and fees and such. The one and ONLY downfall to the night was....7.50 domestic 24 oz. beers....I opted to spend an extra 1.50 and get the 24 oz. bottled Corona. Anyhow, I got a few pics on my phone camera, but no way to download them, plus the quality kinda sucked.
Keep your eye out for the next event.
