I don't know where's that, but I doubt what the biker was doing was permitted.

But also, what was the purpose of the taxi driver opening his door? lol

Call me crazy, but even in gridlock while driving my car I still keep an eye on the rear view mirrors.

I think with a proper lawyer it could be fought that the Cager was at fault.

For instance if it was a highway, your not allowed to stop and park on them, driver was preventing the flow of traffic.

Depends on where it is. If it were in Texas, and I worked the crash, I'd show both equally at fault. Obviously by the plates this isn't in the United States. Motorcycle at fault for sharing a lane and car for unsafe opening of door. If lane splitting was permitted where that occurred, then it's the car's fault.

Never noticed the trunk being open in this video before..

Whenever I parallel park, I always double check the mirrors before opening my door to get out. Not sure who's legally at fault, but that wouldn't have happened with a more cautious taxi driver.

Good point, I'm pretty sure you don't need a lawyer to prove that you're breaking the law by parking on the freeway and having a picnic.

The guy in the taxi was popping the trunk to pull out a tire iron to beat the guy that was lane splitting . His timing was a bit off
