You guys probably need a little more information about how cool this thing you are seeing is. To begin with... there is a cult of people out there in the world that like to experiment with cheap electronic toys and gadgets that make noise. These folks are know as circuit benders... simply because they use jumpers and things to test for circuits that normally do not exist in the object. So, you pick up some cheap fisher price play toy from a garage sale, get out your electrical supplies and do a little tweaking and see what you can come up with. Find something interesting, hard wire it up with a swith or whatever.

If you scroll down a little you can watch the video of Mike Patton, who is a fairly famous guy that you may remember from Faith No More. I have seen him use some of his gadgets at Tomahawk concerts. Cool Stuff!
