where do you "just ride" to

when youre bored and just feel like riding, do you plan on some place to go or just ride and see what comes up

i found myself lost in a neighborhood the other night and had to use my phones gps to get out

I have back roads that I like to cruise for short rides around home. About 60 miles worth.

worst feeling is being semi lost, with a gps that won't connect and low on gas, in the middle of BFE.

Some of the best riding is when you miss a turn and go off the beaten path. Had that happen to me north of boerne recently, and I was reminded that sometimes you have the best adventure when you aren't looking for it.

One of my favorite rides was between Austin and Boerne.

362 North to 105 to 3090 to Yankees. Done this route too many times to count, usually by myself just to clear my head.

I never have a flat spot on my tire, Im always hitting up some curvy back roads and then clear up into Houston to hit 610 and stuff. I like to ride 288 into houston, and hit the I45 Dallas exit and ride through the city, from there Im not sure where to head im still creating my own little route. Tonight I road I45 up to 610 and then took the loop around to 288 and back down to 6

For me, getting out on the street and riding several hundred miles everyday is nothing.

If anyone in the sugarland area wants some fun roads to ride on hit me up
