Guys, i absolutely could do nothing about this.

The bike WAS IN a closed remote operated garage! The thieves managed to Yank the key manual lock out of the door and got the bike and ran away.

They also got another bike form my apt building, a cruiser - but that guy had it in the open parking lot.

Funny thing is my YXR100 was parked next to the GSXR1000 and the YXR100 only weighs 150 lbs and does'nt even require a key to start or run it! They did'nt touch it! Nor did they touch my R6 fairings that were just lying there. They only took 2 things, the GSXR1000 and the Dowco cover on the bike, that's it.

They meant business. :BangHead:

I hope whoever stole it, decides not to part it out and rather takes her for a ride, and gets into a major wreck (it has GP shift) so hopefully the idiot will miss a gear and end up getting in a wreck some how! & loses his legs forever! Why does'nt teach the bad guys a lesson for once?!

Not the first time a bike got stolen out of the garage. There is really nothing you can do at that point unless you want to use a zero disk lock alarm, a heavy chain tied to a concrete block, a scorpio alarm and a mean, MEAN doberman.

I no longer have my 2006 GSXR 1000.

Sad part is i only rode her maybe 50 miles in total..

So once again, i ask who gave me their bad luck?

PS: If you see somebody riding a Black & Red GSXR 1000 without the lower fairings, then please go ahead and nudge em of the road or fricken shoot them - and i'll reward you greatly!

I am sorry to hear it man.. I think you need to see if you can get maybe a different garage maybe? Seems that you might have someone off or the person that stole your lives in or visits your apartments to know that your bike was in there. Because it sounds like they knew exactly what they were coming for ... I am glad to hear you had insurance on it though!

If it was in a garage, then somebody must have been keeping an eye on you. Somebody knew where to strike.

In any case, that sux.

drill a hole in the ground, but a hook in the ground and chain that down! i chain mine and so far so good... would take a cutting tourch to get through the chain and make sure you chain your rear tire.. not your front stick it through the swing arm and wheel and lock it down

good luck on finding it

Sorry to hear that man..... Definitely nothing you can do in this situation. You did your best on keeping in insured and locked in a garage. Good luck on everything else that arrises with this.

On a brighter note... want to make some money and sell me some of those R6 fairings?

WTF??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only 50 miles and she is gone. Well, let's hope that the insurance will pay you the new retail dollars on it. Just be patience for a little while longer, 29 more days, then get the brand new GSXR1K. As a the wise men would say, one door closed another door open. Maybe this is a blessing in disguised.
