DUDE! Go get laid or something.

It may surprise you but we're all smart enough to recognize a bicycle cannot do what a motorized vehicle can do. Also, I don't think anyone here is taking much of this all that seriously - except you.

So all you bicycle riders that say you obey the law,one question. What about minimum speed limits and obstructing the flow of traffic?Personally wish you would stay in your own neighborhoods. My brother lives on the corner of FM723 and FM359 in Richmond.During the weekends you cant get out of his driveway. And the two local convenience stores have banned the bike riders because they show up en masse over flow the septic systems, dont buy anything and continually block the sidewalks around the doors

They probaly dont buy anything because they dont want to carry cash or a credit card due to the added weight.

I don't know of any surface streets that have a minimum speed limit. Only places I see minimum posted speeds are on freeways. Never seen an actual cyclist on one either. Also, concerning bicycles doing the speed limit . . . . that's the maximum allowable limit. There's nothing illegal or wrong about a cyclist doing 20mph in a marked 35mph zone.

As stated earlier, it's illegal to ride a bicycle on a public sidewalk.

I guess I just don't understand all this animocity towards cyclists. We motorcylists - of all motorists - should under the meaning of "sharing the road". I can't remember when was the last time a cyclist, or a group of them, ever held me up when I am on my scooter. Heck, that weekend we did the ThreeSisters was BP MS150 weekend, and we actually briefly rode on the same route as the MS150 route. Never once got in any sort of conflict.

On a bike, I can easily manuvre safely around a cyclist on the same lane. I do slow down, of course, which slows me down may be 10secs tops. To me, riding a scooter - even if it's for commuting - is supposed to be about enjoy the journey - not about how quick I can end it. If I ever feel that way about a ride, I'd take my car instead. If a 10sec penalty me off, I have no bidness on a bike.

Besides, unlike people out operating 2-ton killings machines while texting threatening to kill me, a guy huffing & puffing on a 18-lbs racing bike is nowhere as menacing.

And I've yet to see one texting while riding a bicycle.

There are always going to be who get off at the slightest inconvenience on the road, and who are the guys who will blow diesel smoke, or come within inches of hitting someone with there mirror, or some other passive aggressive like that.

We know they're out there, and they're on this forum as well, and have pretty much identified themselves.
