if it were a bar, i would expect any organized ride to be before the event, drinking and riding do not mix in my opinion. If it were a bike shop sponsored event, I would expect discounts on parts and specials on service, why go if I can get the same prices any time i stop in. to me a bike night is to get bikers who do not normally use your services to get to know you, know your facility and what you have to offer, it is an incentive to get them to try you out.
Actually, this makes sense...I myself confused meet with bike night...

Well for a bike night, I expect free and ...<----lots of those two things I just mentioned

Very well put. The meets are to get to know other riders in your area imo. For a bike night it would be all about the location and the sponsor. Stuff to draw people in. Food, women, and free/discounted stuff always seem to do the trick.

Great input Obed, our goal is to just create a hangout spot where we can all enjoy a good time and show off our toys. There will be half price food and drink specials and it isnt at Yamaha but we will still have discount coupons there for store use. Not really doing it to make money, just trying to create a fun and safe environment.

Seeing some good ideas for Bike night at fuel BAR. We are still putting all the pieces together but so far i think we have bikes in the garage bays for up close bragging(and poseing), possible burn out pit(at least until we start getting noise complaints), a punch card for for free stuff after you fill it up, and possibly a shuttle service for anyone who has a little to much fun. I agree with any rides being before the meet and not after.

Keep the ideas coming and give me some feedback on what we have. We will be having bands on some saturday nights along with the meet.

A weekend night would be pretty cool. You could go ride before them go to bike night and chill out.

Yeah thats why Sat seemed better, most people dont have to worry about work the next day and/or worrying about getting off work in time to ride.

Saturday is good, but there are some Sunday morning riders that wake up early.

Sounds good, I would suggest trying to invite the stunters if you have room...

Stunters would be cool. The SE could use a venue like this. Should bring out alot of riders. When are yall planning on getting everything started?

Hurst, our weekly meet and biweekly rides already bring out more and more riders. Merging it to Saturday would be cool. Thing is though, I still have concern that this would entourage more drinking and riding, especially on a sat night.

Since its on the weekend I'll keep the SOUTHEAST MEET separate. I'll probably be attending alot of these also.
