Coolness! I always liked the early bandits, good luck with the build. I'll stay tuned.

Thanks! I dont know when i'm going to start, my next two weekends are booked. This will give me time to clean out those carbs... If I use the bandit 1200 rearr swing arm I THINK I can have it put together in a weekend. It's all bolt on. If I use either of the other two swing arms, they are going to take some time and maybe machine work to bore the holes for the swing arm pivot holes.

do you still have the late-model GSXR swing arm I had modified for the B12?

I've still got the earlier GSXR swing arm I got from you if you're interested, don't see it getting any use in the near future...

Hey whats up bud,

I have 3 swingarm options.
1) b12(01) is a direct bolt on from my measurements
2) a 95 swing arm fron the parts bike I bought a 2 weeks ago
3) the newer gsxr swingarm is the one I want to use.

1&2-shrink the stock wheel base by 2 inches
2-I LOOVE the look of this arm
3-is the exact length I need to match the wheelbase of the bandit
2&3 has a bigger pivot axel so i'll need machining done to the frame.

3 I can buy extension when I want to drag race it.

on a side note, I bought a b12 about 3 weeks ago and with converting the bearing to tapered it will bolt onto the GV650. WAAAAAAAAAY better brakes so when I put a SV 1k motor in it.

only reason I ask, is because the GSXR swing arm you got from me had a reducer bushing to use the stock Bandit swing arm bearings. Would be a direct bolt-in unless the bearings and sleeve were removed, so long as the B12 swinger was a direct fit.

Maybe the axels changed on teh bandits. the 01 bandit axel fit my 400 parfectly. the swingarm I got from you has the same axel as the 95 gsxr 750 that I had. the axel needed to fit your swing arm is too large for the 400.

I tried to get tahold of the that did your macine work but i never heard back from him. :(

FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

Picked up a 99 Fuel injected srad 750.

I've been looking for this particular motor about 4-5 years now. Now I can actually put the bandit 400 together with a FI motor!
Should be able to tune itto about 120RWH.

Now what to do with the rolling ii chassis.

this bike was stolen 2 years ago. the guy that stole it drove it for 2 months wrecked it and broke his leg.

Anyway, texas title bike but it was located in louisianna. Got home about 9:30 last night had it running by 10:15. (i'm sure my neighbors weren't happy). No engine codes idled great couldn't rev it too much.

now I have to pull the frame out of the attic :(

Ha, good luck with that. It's going to be a sweet naked/streetfighter. Are you going to dress it in the old bandit motif?

Today: I'll need to find a front end for it but i have the motor installed.
Next: Install the throttle bodies and all the electronics.

Looking for a 95 gsxr 750 front and 90-92 gsxr 1100

Frame has been in the attic for about 3 years I think.
