I find it hard to believe anyone falls for these.

I like to thank them and tell them how much this will help my poor family and
keep forgetting to give them the info they need. blah blah

You know try to make them feel bad while I string them along.

Attn: Mr. Erik Thames,

How are you today and your family? I hope that you are all ok. I am writing
to you to acknowledge receipt of your mail.

Our aim of contacting you in this transaction is to solicit for your support
and assistance to see that we get this fund transfered to your account in
your country for our mutual benefit.

Regarding to the South African rules and regulations which does not permit
any assylum seeker (refugee) to operate an account within South Africa that
is the reason we contacted you as our foreign partner who will assist us by
opening the non-residential dollar account on your name in South Africa
where this fund will be deposited into before the onward transfer of the
fund to your nominated account in your country.

From the mail you received from me you will know that this fund is presently
at the Security Company where it was deposited in a box for safe keeping by
my late husband. We will come over to your country after the transfer of
this fund to your nominated account overseas.

Like I told you in my first mail, we are presently in Johannesburg South
Africa making all the necessary arrangements needed to secure this fund
amicably to your account in your country.

Since the death of my husband, things has been difficult for us but we thank
that we are alive and still have this huge sum of money which we intend
to invest in your country. I have discussed with a top bank official that
will assist us in getting this fund transfered to your account in your
country.

The money will be transfered from the bank in South Africa to your bank
account in your country and we have already made the arrangements for that.
We are in a better position to furnish you with any information you might
need regarding this transaction. Feel free to ask any question so that you
will be clarified. After receiving your reply, I will tell you about the
whole arrangements that has been made already for the conclusion of this
transaction.

Be aware that this fund is the only hope of my family and we have taken our
time to arrange for the smooth transfer of this fund to your nominated
account overseas.

Please do answer these questions:

Are you capable of handling this transaction?
What do you do now for your living?
How old are you?

Please do reply this mail as soon as possible so that I will let you know
about the modalities worked out to ensure smooth transfer of this fund to
your account in your country.

We will call you so that we can discuss on phone as you said and to clarify
you in all you have to know about this transaction. I am waiting for your
immediate response and my regards to your family.

Thanks once again for your response and understanding.

Thanks and bless

Mrs. Rose Moyo
(for the family)
