Rider down last Tuesday.

I saw an add on Craigslist for some parts for my triumph and called the guy up to discuss the prices. Guys name was Austin. He seemed like a really cool guy, very polite and down to earth. He lived very close to me and offered to show me the the parts. Rode to my work on his orange triumph speed triple with the parts. We spoke for about 20 minutes about our bikes and discussing rides and meets. Told Austin I would get back with him with the money soon. Never heard back from him. His fiancÚ left me a voicemail saying that he had died on the way home from meeting me last Tuesday night earlier today. I was shocked! Austin died just minutes after meeting me. I have no other details. I will pray for him and his family that was left behind.

I'd tried calling to express how I felt and to get more info but his fiancÚ did not answer. The voicemail she left me will haunt me. The pain in her voice was heart breaking. Pretty sure he had a kid. He seemed like such a cool dude.

Oh wow - that's just awful, for all involved. Just bear in mind that it wasn't your fault - no matter how you slice or dice it.
