my first long ride

First off, thanks to Mad Max (Max) and nutmegchoi for taking their time with me. That said, next time warn me! I had no idea we were going to go that far. But seriously, it was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to the next one. Now to learn how to carry some speed through curves :laughing6

I had a great time....
my hurts

So how many miles do you consider a "long day"?

haha. why isn't this in general discussion? anyways, it was a good day to ride. i had most of my confidence zapped by a tar snake on 3090

your map is generally right, but missing some good stuff. it's a good route, easily a couple hundred miles.

That's what makes 3090 a challenge...

tar snakes, broken up pavement and dirt in the middle of the corner..

gotta love those country roads!

It was nice meeting you, Anthony.
Glad you enjoyed the ride.
Consider how short you've been riding, you did an outstanding job.
Tell your wife we are sorry we kidnapped you for 5 hours.

Good to ride with you again, Maxie.
Thought you'll never ride with me again...

This was my normal weekend route.
It's around 250 miles and I think we rode about 250-275 miles yesterday.
Fun.
