i started going there over 30 years ago, back when it was ran and operate by people with a true passion for bikes. pardon me while i reminisce?
they used to have a man for each make of japanese motorcycle. he had his own space and he did all of his own bike strippin and inventorying. you could walk in and ask any one of them if they had a certain part and they knew if they had it and where it was. a friend of my oldest brother worked there and would hook me and my other brother up with choice parts for cheap. at some point thru the years , it was sold, probably more than once. i still drop by there once every few years just to look around. the place ain't what it used to be and they haven't a clue what all they do or don't have but it's still a lot of fun to just walk the place and look at some of the very cool and interesting parts there. the half retail price mentioned before is right. not always a good deal but it doesn't hurt to try to bargain with them. if you've never been there, it's worth your time to go, at least one time to see some motorcycle history.

is that the one on long drive south of the loop?
If so i have not been there in at least 20 years... but it was a good place to find things the dealer could not get for you, or would not get for you.

Last time I went there it was all pretty much junk. They had bikes, pieces of motor, old three wheelers, etc. just sitting out in the weather. Inside a big metal building was shelves and shelves of random pieces of bikes piled up.

I don't know how anyone was supposed to find anything.

There is a moto scrapyard in Pasadena behind Milburn's that is ok. Don't know the name of it...

if you need a part, you'd have to go and find/match it up your self, then when u go to the front be ready for a price shock. ebay>union, i only go there for older bikes or something that isnt really a true match up, more like "see if it works parts"

I used them in the 80's when I had my kz 650 , they have a lot of parts , no bad experiences from them.
