Yep. Mine's on the swingarm and a DPS officer pulled me over and verified it was current and said the only reason he pulled me over was because he could not see it from the rear. I told him I started putting it there because I've had mounting plate's under the plate stolen and he said it was cool but since it wasn't visable it gave him cause to pull me over. Oh well. I've had it there for 3 years now and only been pulled over once.

i do state inspections....if there is no fender, i put it on the swingarm or wherever the owner wants it mounted. i just can't hand them the sticker.

That's because you haven't ridden late at night in small town or in a conurbation.

Just attach a piece of plastic to the plate so he can stick it on it then throw it in your little hatch area later.

I've done it a few times and :eh: I don't really care for it.
I commute at night but for a nice sprint... I'd rather see the sun rise.
