Any flat track racing coming up?

Just got my KE100 up and blasting about again, and want to try my hand at the Maddog class. Never been racing on anything with an engine, and have really been jonesing to try it.

Hey Carbon James, I know the probability is less than zero but any chance you could get the boot camp to have a race or 3?

The flat track there is one of the nicest I've ridden on!

nevermind...just remembered there is the fence right off turn 2 and down the back straight would prolly be an issue :(

I've talked to Mike about this in the past. It's possible, maybe, but then there's insurance.

hmmm, great idea but as Linz says, insurance may become an issue for such an "event"

Again, from a newcomers point of view, while there are plenty of road-race clinics and classes, are there any schools which teach FT racing? I can only imagine looking foolish as I slowly lope through a turn with both feet on the pegs.

Would definitely be interested in a minicamp or similar. Its something I've wanted to do for a long time and my kids are grown enough, coupled with the fact that I am still young enough that I can risk banging myself up some without too many bad consequences (knock knock).

Nice pic Linz !!

Here is where you can find just about all you can for flattrack news.

http://www.vft.org/

There is more here and other news, suppliers, engine, and so on.
Some of these folks do good work on street motors as well.
