Honestly it happened so fast I am not sure how to save that. Interested in how you save something like that. Before I knew it I was hitting my head and thinking I just wrecked. I felt horrible that I did that and
Blessed I had Robert and Floyd within seconds of me ..

if he was to keep giving it gas then the bike would have just washed from under him like my crash.

He lost the rear, got on the throttle too much coming out of that turn and once the bike gave up and caught up it was high side time.

If he was going a little slower would had been the only way he would have saved it. Or maybe as soon as he felt the rear come loose and let it settle would have been another way he may have saved it.

But... goes down so fast!! There is so little time to think or even blink on what you should do or in this case, would have done..

The worst thing you can do when the rear steps out that far is chop the throttle. I know it's hard but you gotta try to stay in it. As soon as you chop it the rear will regain traction and spit you off.

Glad you are relatively OK, Martinez. When your tires start sliding you have to be extra diligent in reducing lean angle while adding throttle at corner exit. Otherwise.... well... you know.

Another Silver 08 R6 bites the dust! I totaled my silver 08 R6 at MSRH in 10. Now its a dedicated track bike. Loved that color.

Heal up. Glad you are OK.
