Uggghhh! Now you have two?
I have wanted this bike since I first saw it. I have only rode one and it felt low on power but would like to still get one anyway and get the chance to ride it hard to see what it can do.

It certainly is the most stable bike I've ever ridden. It inspires more confidence than anything else I have ever been on. Its not my favorite bike - I don't care for the riding position all that much and I wish it had a bit more hit on the top end, but if it isn't stable as !

On the heavy steering and stable ride.. my TLR was the same way.

Try slipping the forks up a tad to lighten the steering.. did wonders for mine with no loss of stability.

I doubt there's a lot we can do with the heavy steering. It is a well known trait of RC's to have extremely heavy steering weight at speed.

You'd be surprised what tweaking the bike and tire profile can do.
If there is a stock damper on it, that will contribute as well.

Won't hurt anything to try lowering the front 10 mm or so.

I have the recommended tire profiles for better turn in, and the RC doesn't have a steering stabilizer from the factory. Still need to replace the fork seals so I'll see what other RC owners are doing as far as the forks.

A quick search brings up:

My RC handled poorly when I bought it (coming off of a 600RR). The previous owner had the forks rebuilt so they are OKish. Bike felt heavy, no turn in, didn't feel nimble at all, I kept thinking "they race these things!?" I noticed the rear suspension seemed to "sit" really low. I put a couple of shims in the rear shock to raise the rear suspension height. I also put new tires on the bike, changed out a 190/50 rear for a 190/55. These changes increased turn in dramatically (not enough to make the bike twitchy). The bike was immediately more lively, felt light and nimble. Check your tires first, make sure they are in good nick and the proper profile. Then, you might want to try either raising the rear suspension height a bit or raising the forks (lower the front end). See if that helps.

I can't speak for the stock forks as the forks in my bike were already upgraded when I got it, however you should be able to get them close enough where the bike doesn't feel like a POS.

It all relates to rake/trail numbers and weight bias. Accepting slow heavy steering just doesn't cut it for me.
