That would be a fantastic troll, but I don't know who would have the time or energy to put on that ruse haha.

Will probably get around to the RC assembling next weekend, hopefully.

Look forward to seeing it all done and pretty like...
I rode an RC51 once, didn't like it, begged to have my 04 ZX-10R back

This was my first time riding one and I like it. Had a 2005 R1 and sold it, loved the power, but the ergos and heat ticked me off. Enjoyed the vtwin power of the SV, just not enough power.

If you think R1 was hot wait till you sit at a stoplight with the RC. Also try and find a dan kyle rear link, it will make all the difference in the world.

I was wondering about the RC's heat with the rads right there.

Still, the R1 did suck. Hopefully they fixed it after 2005. I would get off of mine and even wearing textile riding pants my legs would be that burnt splotchy red and dripping in sweat. Fun bike, not fun in the Texas heat.

I was reading up about that link earlier this week, definitely looks like a worthwhile investment.

Correct, and a thread here. I haven't done anything on it in a while though, been busy with offroad stuff for a while. Planning on getting back to that project shortly though.

Fixed the idle and found out the fuel pump gasket started to leak when I put more gas in the tank. Pulled it off, siphoned out the gas, and got a gasket on order. Guess I'll prep and paint it while it is off and empty.

Also ordered a Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen and some frame sliders. Test fit the fairings before I started bodyworking them.

You have no idea. The cell phone video doesn't do it 10% justice. It is like thunder going down the street!

You need a naked SV650 like mine. Comfortable, good performance, and great handling. Awesome bikes!
