Bad in Austin CL

Not mine, and many probably don't know what this is...Google it and see what you think. Next to a TM Black Dream and a Vertemati, it was SM to me 10 years ago.

The NOX at the seller's asking even with the needed work seems to be a good price IMO. I think AF1 posted the details a while back about this bike. I'd love to have it, but no space and it would require a bit of upkeep...prolly worth it though.

I do not know the owner, etc.

2002 Husqvarna Nox. Number 61 of 300 produced worldwide. Supposedly 1 of 15 brought to the united states. Previously owned by Jon Francis of AF1 Racing, who performed a restoration prior to my purchase. He was reporting numbers of 240lbs and 74hp on their dyno with the 604cc piston kit. I've never weighed or dyno'd it since purchase, but riding it, it keeps up nicely with the newer hot KTM's, and smokes them off the line into the first corner.

If you're not familiar with the bike, it was built as a special edition supermoto from Husqvarna, with titanium subframe, countless titanium and aluminum bolts and other widgets, Brembo monoblock front brake with radial master cylinder, excel rims with magnesium hubs, carbon fiber fairings/fenders/seat pan, full racing spares kit, and on and on. It was a factory racer. The fact that it came with a street conversion kit boggles my mind, as it's a beast.

I've used this primarily for track days since I purchased it in 2009. It's done one AHRMA event and one CMRA event.

Was running when parked November 2011, and I've inspected the top end of the motor and it still seems solid. Currently not running due to low compression and the carb needs cleaning. My guess is that it's due for rings, and possibly a piston(available from Wiseco). Selling because I'm moving soon, and I'm just not going to get around to fixing it due to too many other projects right now.

Comes with spare Uptite racing exhaust, brackets to mount a Scotts damper, and the majority of the race spares that came with the Nox kit(suspension springs, gearbox gears, clutch parts, and just crazy numbers of loose spare parts, far too many to list individually). Still has all of the street conversion kit, carbon fiber body kit in practically new shape(all but non-existent at this point. Fair disclosure, the rear number plates have been used on the track), multiple spare plastic body panels in usable shape(obviously raced), and more. I've got two large boxes full of parts including heads, subframes, bars, levers, and who knows what else, as well as two smaller boxes of tinier parts and spares.

Fair disclosure: this bike has been wrecked and repaired prior to my ownership, as well as during. I've flipped it once and slid it on the lhs once. If parted out, it's probably worth a lot of money to the right people, just because of how gonzo some of the components are.

I also have a 1997 Husqvarna 610wxc motocross bike that I've been using as a spares bike, since many of the hard parts transfer over(same motor/frame and many other parts). It currently has the bad camshaft housing that I swapped off the Nox when it broke a bolt on the rocker retainer, but the giant box of spares has a replacement head and camshaft housing for it if you wanted to get it running separately.

Bought together, I'd like $4100 cash, as they sit with everything I have in my garage that belongs with the bikes(sorry, stands are not included).

By themselves, I'd like $1000 for the 610wxc with the replacement camshaft cover that it needs to run again,
and $3300 for the Nox with the remainders of the spares.

Just the wheels alone are around a thousand to replace, the Uptite exhaust is around $500 last time I asked them to make me one. I can only imagine what the priceless carbon fiber bodywork is worth. I've seen these listed in "running" condition for around $7-8k, and pristine "living room museum"-kept for $12k.

Not interested in trades or providing financing. Will consider offers, but cash in my hand is the only form of payment I will accept. Neither of these motorcycles is titled for on-road use, and I have no idea what would be involved in making them street-legal. Both bikes are off-road competition models, and sold as such with a bill of sale.

Nice! There was a nice one for sale on supermotojunkie.com a while back. This may be it. You should check out the 2009 530rr models. Husqvarna makes some really nice limited edition race bikes. I doubt that will happen anymore now that BMW owns them and Kymco makes the engines.

Funny, I just found this post again from 2012.

Cool bike.
