it went about as well as a swift kick in the nuts goes.

Long story short made it about halfway home with two guys escorting(didnt even get any), was on a road i shouldnt have been on... got a lil over whelmed and next thing ya know i was laying on my back in the dirt.

Bike will be ok and the good news is before I went down I was having a blast. I just shouldnt have been driving it yet.

Anyways gear held up VERY well and I am fine, but I need some rest.

ill get some in the daylight on sunday when i get back in town

it's not too bad
brake lever broke off
radiator cap and nozzle are going to need some haggling
fuel tank dented in a lil (quarter size)
headlight works but brackets and housing are bent to
right blinker is bent
right mirror is toast(I wanted bar ends anyways)
slight scuff on the tail section... hardly noticeable.
oh and right peg is bent.
throttle cable is snapped.

With some new stuff, bike will look good. Atleast I am ok, I can't praise the alpinestars jacket enough, not even a stretched stitch.

Sorry to hear about the crash, that sucks! I just hope your "escorts" weren't trying to take you too fast down the road...

Sorry to hear about the incident. Good job wearing your gear. Best advise I can offer is to always trust your guts instinct. You were right to want some one with experience to ride your bike home for you. Never let any one talk you in to riding if your gut tells you otherwise.
