Remote gated area

question from a noob rider....so been riding for about a month now and we have this remote gate on our neighborhood but the sensor wont read my bike.....every time i ride and try to get out of the neighborhood i have to get off my bike punch in the code to open the gate and rush to my bike and ride off....the 1st week was ok but after that its getting annoying....any idea how to solve this...same question with a turning left red traffic light that just wont turn green at all.....i heard something about putting a magnet under the bike?...true??

Well, there's a few things I'd recommend:

1) Try putting some rare earth magnets underneath your bike. This worked for me. You can pick up the magnets at EPO for like $5.

2) Get the green light sensor box thing. It works, but it's just rare earth magnets in a box.

3) Wait for someone else to enter/leave. My old complex was busy enough for me to do this without a problem most of the time.

Don't put your bike on the sensor plate. Before you pull up, unzip all your pockets and turn them out. Next, on the sensor, do the macarena. After the macarena bark like a dog 2x. Then chicken walk while making as close to sounds as skrillex. If you don't know what skrillex is pm New Rider.

Repeat until someone drives by and has to get close enough to video they drive over the sensor.

Or you could get some magnets. But that would be he easy way out. Nobody likes a half asser though.
