i didn't know real people could afford talent like that. i don't know anything about country music, but to get a small band like unwritten law or sugarcult would run you 20k+. that's insane. you could get the cd for $20! but hey, if you've got the money to spend on it, that's awesome!

I use to work for nickleback. I don't think anyone here could afford their fee. I know how much they made per show.

They are the nicest people in the business. Money hasn't gone to their heads at all. I've worked for some real jerks. Taproot being one of them.

yeah, i've heard that, too. that they actually care about their fans, yada yada. i've never met them, but if they're as nice as i've heard, yay! i've met some real dickwads. and if the guys from nickelback want to unload some of their cash, i'd be willing to take it off their hands.

They treat me good and paid me lots of money. That is all I care about. I don't have to like a bands music to take their money.

Weird al is also a real nice guy. I've met so many people through the years. It has been a real treat to do what I do...and get paid!

Don't always believe what you read. The cost of doing business goes up every year.

I know that STP used to get $75K per show.

I don't think that musicians at that level are overpaid. Most bands have to rough it for years before [and if] they get anywhere. Then their careers are short lived. Might as well get while it's good!

if i could get rascal flatts to my wedding for 20k or under, that would be sweeeeet.

when we get married....90% of our guests give us money as a wedding gift, family tends to give more. most asian people profit from a wedding, and use the profits to buy a home or what not. i just want the wedding to be an experience me, the wife to be, friends/family will never forget. if she wants rascal flatts, i'll try my best. you only live once right?
