Swapping rubber on 12's

Why would someone create such a bearishly awful, horrendous, unnaturally difficult and obscenely frustrating thing as the 12 inch tube tire? And how do you change this thing?

If completing such a feat is not possible as a mortal human being then who are the freakishly wise and amazing jedi masters that have the physical, mental and emotional aptitude to change this tire so that I may drive to their house and shower them with money while they change these tires for me.

I lubed it up and attacked it with the rage of a thousand suns, it started bending my spoons. I clearly don't have the technique to do this.

put the tubes and tires in the hot sun prior to mounting them up, and use plenty of lube.
