LOL thats my ad
i have had some interesting questions. i put the r6 line in there. one guy wanted to put it into a harley or something. another one, into a suzuki savage.. .maybe it would work. i dont know. i'm offering a basic single cylinder no frills 500cc engine that i have not had running. the engine should run once you have it hooked up to eveything you need for it to run.
lol, but yeah, thanks for the publicity, chris
i had an email just now for the thing

also, scorch, the answer is no :(
i got this thinking it would fit my dr250s.
my friend and i put about $200 into this engine and it was a couple of inches too big right where the swingarm mount is.

Ok, thanks noose. I used to have a DR500 back in the day (way back, B.C.). That motor was a jewel had a superb turque curve. I could pull a wheelie in 2nd and shift gears up to 5th with no fear, it managed its power that well.

So, you were going for a DR250 insertion, I guess chopping and stretching the frame was too radical? I've never done it, but I'm sure other. more adventurous builders have.

too much for me, yes. we had the ebay seller take measurements, and it looked like it would fit.
once we put hands on it though and tried to wedge it in there, it was just too big.
if you cut off the swingarm mount and make another mount on the back side of the frame tube that the mount was originally on, that might work. i didnt want to get into all that mess though.

As soon as I read the ad I knew it was the NOOSE. That thing would be fun as in a go-kart, an R6, not so much
