New DRZ OTD Price ??

What do you guys think is a reasonable OTD price for a new 2012 DRZ with an MSRP of $6,199? Before you try to convince me to buy used, I just don't. I like my toys shiny and unmolested!

Thanks in advance!

I usually go to the dealer thats in Cherry Hill,NC website. They sell thier bikes on ebay, compare thier buy it now price for that model then calculate TTL add ~$500 for shipping. That will more or less get u in the bottom dollar ball park. I did this with the DRZ i bought and saved about 1200 in bull . Kept my ground even after my wife told me I was being an

Well I have not idea what a good OTD price is for a brand spanking new DRZ but I bought one anyway.

I will bring it home next Wednesday.

If ur gonna do a lil off roading make sure to get some case covers for the clutch and stator...

As well as the case savers like Adam noted, consider radiator guards like Unibikers. Radiators are spendy:

http://www.unabiker.com/mm5/merchant...tegory_Code=SX

Sumo crash-tested and approved, BTW.

The tires on that S are terrible on dirt. They're Bridgestone Trail Wings, AKA Death Wings. They bite dirt like a pad of butter on a hot skillet, so plan accordingly. A tire thread on ADV Rider is almost as bad as an oil thread, but consensus seems to lean towards Conti TKC 80, Dunlop D606 (at least for the rear), Pirelli MT 21 or Kenda K270 for DOT knobbies.

That is what I have heard about the tires. I am going to uses these for a few commutes while I get used to the seat height. I will definitely be swapping the tires out soon. Would be nice to get a second set of rims to have on the ready road and dirst setup.
