Court Results

I went to court today for reckless driving (Class B) on the bike, Troopers dont like it when you do wheelies in front of them haha :BangHead: and the results are...........$100 Fine, 30 Hrs CS and 6 Months Probation. Not to bad for NOT having an attorney, guess it pays off to be a criminal justice major lol Well now i just got to fork over some money and stay out of trouble for 6 Months

You couldn't have paid a lawyer a $100 and got it dismissed?

Well i could have but there were like 5 other guys in there for reckless driving, did the exact same thing i did (wheelies, lane splitting etc.) and paid several hundred dollars for their attorney and all they got better was no community service so they actually lost more money then i did in the whole thing

.

The community service is easily the worst part of this. 30 hours of comm/serv. blows. A lawyer should have gotten you off of that shife. And did yous say it was a deffered ajudication type deal where it will be expunged from your record? A class B misd. will mean no CHL for like 5 years.

If you get another ticket during probation, do you get the calss B, or they just give you a class C? Man i come to think that you have to be very careful.

When i had my Rec. Drv., my attorney lower it to 60 day deferr. adj, no CS, plus in case i get another one during probation, the first one will only count as Class C which is a ticket violation.

No the prosecuter said i can get class c's and she wont revoke my probation but she will if i get another class b. So i can speed all i want but no class b's anymore But i dont plan on gettin anymore class b's for a long long time. And if i break the probation she said i can get no longer then 30 days in jail which is 4 for 1 anyways ( 1 day spent counts as 4 Days) So basically 7 days in jail.

CHL - concelaed handgun license. Didn't you just turn 21?

I just turned 27 and was just able to get my CHL because of class b misdemeanors that I racked up when I was 19-20.

It sucks to wait the 5 years to run out the statute for your CHL.
