Turning to the dark side...

I took my monster 696 in for its 7500 mile service, and there it was: a special edition moto guzzi griso! After 7500 miles of commuting and twisties on the monster I realized I wanted a larger bike that could cruise as well as carve. Combine that with a long standing over the griso and I left with a new bike!

I should add, I don't have a beard or a roadcrafter so I couldn't swing a BMW r1200r.

I'd say my garage now smells of leather and rich mahogany, but the pink folding chairs ruin it for me.

I took it to work today on a 30 mi (both ways) commute. It feels like my monster, but improved in every way. It doesn't lug at a walking pace, it is better balanced, the motor has easy power, the seat is plush, and it feels like it was carved from a solid block of steel. I'm loving it.
