Should I Run Seafoam?

no REAL problems with the sv, changed plugs and oil. need a new air filter, but do you think it would help or just be a waste of $8. i have around 13.5k miles on it give or take a few.

ive never ran it before, so im not sure if its a good thing to do during a tune up

Don't use the entire can in one tankful and it won't be a waste of $8

Had a sputter in my HD and it cleared it right up. Mix per label instructions

Im using a can on my Ninja 650, I actually think its helped slightly. Only ran it for a few miles.
Don't use the entire can, split it amongst like 4 fill ups.

depends, if you get a big rattler you can just milk that snake for all the juice it can hold.

Add half a bottle of NOS form the refrigerated section of the 7-11.

And why cant you just use some air filter cleaner, clean the filter you have and re oil it? Im right over 8k miles and I just did my airfilter and spark plugs. I can notice a big difference.

I used it on my SV and although afterwards it ran about the same my mileage went up by about 5 mpg on avg so I think its worth it. A lot of people run it through their system a couple times a year as just standard maintenance. I think it works and even if it doesn't you aren't going to hurt anything.

my hyosung (cruiser-gv650) sits for extended periods of time. When I would ride it it would load up after sitting in traffic. added two tanks worth of it and the problem is gone. It's been sitting for 6 weeks this time and it fired right up and idle'd just fine.
