The owner had just bought it and was actually a pretty cool cat, I really felt kinda bad for him. As for the "friend of a friend" he let borrow it for a quick spin around the block I dunno, he was ghost before I rolled up but Mr. Owner did not look like the kinda guy you fk outta $5k.

I let my best friend take mine for a "total loss" spin. I'm just glad he wasn't hurt any worse. The rash was terrible. It was a few layers deep. He wanted to pay for the repairs which were not even worth the trouble. The bikes was to me at that point. He ended up paying my deductible. I had a check in 7 days. I ended up buying the airbrushed GSXR 600 that is in so many pics from winning best in show. Not everyone is as lucky as me. Many friends borrow and die. I would hate to have a friend die while borrowing my .

Usually no front and all rear braking combine before a wipe out or they loop it.

It's really aggravating when someone asks to ride your bike, especially if they don't own one themselves. Every bike is different and it's not like loaning out a car.

The first day I got my first bike. I had NO IDEA how to ride, not even a standard car, but I was insistant on riding it home. I got about 5 feet before I pinned it between the curb and my friend's truck. LOL.

I had to relinquish at that point and let my roommate ride it home for me. OH THE SHAME!!
