ZX-14R or Ducati Diavel

I am looking for something "sporty", but more comfortable than my current ride, BMW S1000RR. I have narrowed it down to the ZX-14R or Diavel. I am 6'1" and normally ride back roads with long sweepers so both of these bikes should work. I am looking for feedback from people who own or have ridden these two bikes.

you missed the Diavel test ride they had a bit back, i'm sure if you drop by stubbs they'll let you test ride the diavel, esp. if you come up on the SS.

IMO the the zx is similar enough to the SS, so essentially the same bike

i plan to put a Diavel in my lineup, prob. my next bike.

i've ridden the diavel 2x, make sure to get the carbon one as the wheels are lighter, big diff.

Don't own nor have I ridden both but isn't a ZX-14 a Sport bike while the Diavel is more of a Hybrid Cruiser/Standard/Sport bike, I Also know that some people are going to bring up cost of maintenance on both bikes as well--ZX-14 being the more cheaper.

Are your legs less cramped on the Diavel than the SS bikes?

The ZX-14R has a more relaxed riding position than a pure supersport bike. The ZX-14R and Diavel are two different bikes completely. I am just trying to figure out what is best for spirited riding, but comfortable at the same time.

So I have a Diavel, and she handles great on the curves (ran the forest run with R6 and gixxer 600) plus I can do endurance run fairly well (again, by comparing with wade and j-hurst on the same forest run) The seat is lower to the ground, and foot position might be cramp due to the control is mid, not rear control for taller rider ( I'm 5"4 and flat feet at lights). Very torquey and techy. Pm me if you want to get some more review on it

Haha I guess I got and skills.

But yeah, that big 240 rear does feel weird when I push the diavel in corners and curves. The diavel is more of a jack of all trade-master of none bike, but I like it.

Diavel simply because it is more different from your bimmer than the zx is.

You might also look at a multistrada. You get the diavel's engine without that 240 size bun.
