Call Chicks Auto Shippers, 573-721-4053. Dude got my bike here from Michigan in 4 days and smoked everyone elses prices. Plus he's an independant family guy working to raise his kids. Name is David Chick, and I had a good experience with him all around.

My SXV came from Michigan. The seller used a shipping bidding sight. Bike showed up in one piece.

I used forward air to ship a VFR400 to LA. No issues. Friends have shipped Ducs with them as well.

You get a metal box assigned to you at a facility, take the bike there without fuel, strap the bike in the box, and lock it. One friend had his container involved in a crash. When they opened the box, the Duc 900 FE was in perfect shape, still strapped into place.
