I have an 07 GSXR 750 with the full yoshimura TRC system but here recently I took the mid pipe and slip-on off and got a RLS Exhaust drag pipe punisher series and put it on the yoshi header. Loud but sounds awesome.

Are there others that haven't been mentioned that anyone else would recommend? I know yoshimura is big name but is it worth the quality? Or just a name?

It is going to come down to aesthetic, note, and price. To be honest, all those mentioned are good. What we should be saying is what to stay away from. Which in my opinion, for your bike, would be D&D, Muzzy, Scorpion.

Yoshimura would be juuuust fine for your bike, and they're fairly cheap. I had a Yoshi slip on for a while, and didn't have any complaints. Now I have a Leo Vince full system. It's higher quality, but their slip ons are double the price, and their full systems are about triple the cost. Only reason I switched was I got the full Ti system and a PCIII for $440 shipped.

Yeah for my 05 gsxr.

Why spend money on an exhaust? Well I dont want to buy another bike with the mods I can make to adjust mine. Theory is I spend $1k on an exhaust and be happy or buy another bike for $5k-$7k and make adjustments to that one.

Brocks Performance makes an excellent pipe, makes good power, and you get his map support for free. Also, TIForce and Muzzy Make great pipes that make good power

so is it "best" exhaust or $1000.......cuz they aren't in the same ballpark, lol

buy a slip-on and be done w/ it. spend the $1000 you saved on trackdays.

I agree you not gonna be racing or can care less about performance so just hit ebay and get a yosh slip-on. and call it a day..

That's about what I'd do as well. I don't know about your bike, but for mine all the highest quality exhausts retailed for a minimum of $1,500. It's just not worth it on a bike that's only worth maybe $3,500. If you're stuck on a full system, scour the GSXR forums until a used one comes up for pennies on the dollar, or buy a slip on. Just remember that if you decide on a full system you'll need to add a fuel controller(such as a Power Commander) as well. Firgure roughly another $300 for that. Then to get the most out of it you'll need a custom tune at an extra $200-400. A free generic map from the Dynojet site will work, but I wouldn't expect much of a performance benefit. It adds up quick.
