I don't know if he is leaving, but I would take him denying it in an interview with a grain of salt. He knows how to play the media, just like he denied that he was going to Ducati for so long and that his career would end on a Yamaha.

You can tell his heart just doesnt seem to be in it anymore. He is taking a top 10 finish if he can. Looks like he's just out there helping Ducati to dial in the new bike. He's not really pressing or being that aggressive. Even my non moto riding brother was watching the races with me but knows who Rossi is commented that it looked like he was mailing it in.
Maybe he wants to finish out this season and then try his luck in Formula One? He has done some trials so......

Maybe he looks like that bc he's on a bike and team (in his opinion). He likely wants off the Duc and back on a Yamaha or Honda. *shrug*. It's not like he went to before going to Ducati.
