Bike not going past 4k rpms. WTF

One month ago the bike (04 R6) was running perfect, it hasnt moved since the last time it ran. Now it is hard on starting, and you must have the throttle completely pinned or it will die. When completely pinned it only revs to around 4k and just sounds boggy.

What do you suggest as the first step to fix this problem?

drain gas, check fuel screen/filter. put new gas along with the proper amount of seafoam and run it again.

Like Japawhat02 said, drain fuel and put new ones with sea foam. if problem persist, check the plugs and while ur at it check the lines. also, could be ur pump too. good luck!

Sounds like some sort of clogged fuel line or something.

Shouldn't be too difficult or expensive to repair.

Thanks for the help everybody, I'm at work but called someone to run some sea foam through it for me. He said the rpms immediately went up, and it was responding to the throttle better. It was of course still dieing, and then the battery died lol. He had to do some other stuff so I will finish it later. I will also do everything yall mentioned to be sure its in tip top shape.

@Versatile. Urine idiot. I said plenty of money for my bills and other stuff. Sorry for wanting to fix my bike before sending it to a shop??
Stop being a , you .

BTW, It's "son I am dissapoint", . Yeah I just called u a 3 times. U mad?
